Get up early in the morning for a good two to two-and-a-half-hour drive through country roads snaking their way around the Rincon de La Vieja National Park for a one-of-a-kind Costa Rica experience. You will be visiting Sensoria, a privileged property located on the north face of Rincon de La Vieja Volcano where the exuberance of a tropical rain forest meets the might of an active volcano.

But Sensoria is not just any tropical forest, we are talking about a tropical rain forest blessed with the presence of the mighty Rincon de La Vieja Volcano next to it. And the best part of it all is that you can swim in every single one of them at your own pace.

Please note that you and your guide will take between 3 to 4 hours of steady, moderate hiking to reach all the wonders Sensoria has to offer. Some portions of the trails are up hill and some others will require to negotiate stairs, so it is recommended that you be in moderate physical condition to do this tour. At the end of your day you will have a chance to take a shower at the lovely bathrooms in the property before enjoying a delicious lunch.
